This was an exciting week in our home because we found out our little one is 100% BOY!! We had a 2D Gender Ultrasound done at First Glimpse in Macon. They specialize in 2D, 3D, & 4D ultrasounds plus prenatal massages! If anyone has the opportunity to do this I highly recommend it. We were able to have our families with us as we found out if Baby R was a boy or a girl! Our little man's name will be Hatcher Thomas Ricks. Hatcher is my great grandmother's maiden name & Thomas is Johny's middle name. We loved the idea of using family names for our son!
This was how we announced our big news on Facebook!
Can you tell my hubby is super excited he's having a baby boy! :)
And of course, myself & the grandmother's did a little shopping to get Hatcher's closet started! :)
Here's the 16 week pic & update.
How far along? 16 weeks, 2 days
Total weight gain/loss: 4lbs.
Maternity clothes? I've bought lots of pants & am slowly starting to wear them. Still using the bella band a lot!
Stretch marks? Nope! :)
Sleep: Sleeping great minus the 3:00 a.m. bathroom break!
Best moment this week: Finding out our little one is a BOY and seeing him in 3D/4D! I cried like a baby & loved getting to see him move all around. I'm pretty sure he was smiling at us & definitely gave us a little wave!
Have you told family and friends: Yes!
Miss Anything? Being able to get through a day without a headache. It's all for a good cause but these headaches will knock you on your booty!
Movement: Not yet
Food cravings: Anything LEMON
Anything making you queasy or sick: The answer to this is it depends on the day. Queasiness is slowing down but not completely gone. An empty stomach is a definite no, no!
Have you started to show yet: The bump has officially arrived!
Gender: Boy
Labor Signs: NoBelly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward to: Feeling the baby move!
