26 Weeks

This past weekend was an exciting one as we celebrated our first baby shower for little Hatcher! The shower was given by my friends Becky, Maggie, Annie & Becky's mom Mrs. Anne. The shower was given at Alpha Delta Pi's Memorial Headquarters with a Pea in the Pod theme! It was adorable!! The ladies put so much effort into the shower & we truly felt the love! Hatcher got so many wonderful gifts & we were so thankful for all of those who came to celebrate with us. It is definitely a day we'll never forget! Below are some pictures from the special day as well as my 26 week update.

How far along? 26 weeks, 6 days

Total weight gain/loss: 13 lbs. 

Maternity clothes? Yes. The dress in these pictures is from TJ Maxx and is not maternity. I highly suggest shopping for maxi dresses that you can wear post pregnancy because they fun & super comfy!

Stretch marks? Nope! :)

Sleep: Still having hip pain & peeing about two times a night at this point. 

Best moment this week: Celebrating Hatcher's upcoming arrival at our first baby shower in Atlanta!

Miss Anything? In one of my last posts, I mentioned I missed wearing my heels. However, I had to wear heels earlier this week for an event & I've decided I don't really miss them that much!

Movement: Little Hatcher loves moving all around! I can tell now where his head & bootie are. So cool! 

Food cravings: Let's be honest...anything I can get my hands on! The appetite is picking back up. 

Anything making you queasy or sick: Strong odors.

25 Weeks

How far along? 25 weeks, 2 days

Total weight gain/loss: 13 lbs. 

Maternity clothes? Yes. The top I'm wearing in this pictures is from Motherhood (buy 1 get 1 1/2 off sale) & the pants were lended to me from my friend Amy! 

Stretch marks? Nope! :)

Sleep: Still having hip pain & peeing about two times a night at this point. 

Best moment this week: Celebrating Father's Day & my dad's birthday with our families. My grandmother was able to feel H kick for the first time!

Miss Anything? My tan although I hope to work on it while we're at the beach next week!

24 Weeks

The past week was a busy one with lots of travel for work & throwing a baby shower for my best friend! Her little girl is due 8 weeks before Hatcher & we couldn't be more excited to be sharing this experience together. My mom & I threw her a shower with friends & family to celebrate the upcoming arrival of her sweet baby girl!

I didn't get around to doing a chalkboard shot this week due to me coming down with a cold & my hubby traveling for work. So...I thought I'd share some "bump" pictures from the shower along with my 24 week update.

23 Weeks

We had a wonderful weekend in my hometown of LaGrange! We were able to spend some quality time with my parents & grandparents which was so nice. We also attended my 10 year high school reunion. It was great catching up with everyone & talking about old times. I can't wait for the next one!!

I took this sweet picture of my Dooley laying with his head right next to my belly this weekend! I feel like he already loves Hatcher so much! I think they're going to be best buddies! :)

How far along? 23 weeks, 2 days

Total weight gain/loss: 13 lbs. Yep...7 pounds gained since my last appointment 4 weeks ago!

Maternity clothes? For sure. The pants I'm wearing in this picture are maternity skinny jeans from Target...I love them! I'll be wearing these post-baby too! :)

Stretch marks? Nope! :)

Sleep: Hip pain has gotten bad again. Constantly tossing & turning. 

Best moment this week: My dad feeling H kick for the 1st time over the weekend & hearing his sweet heartbeat today at our 23 week appointment.

Have you told family and friends: Yes!

Miss Anything? Wearing my heels everyday. I'm a total heels girl & I just can't wear them all day anymore. The flats are a must! 

Movement: Yes!! The little kicks & jabs are getting stronger everyday! 

Food cravings: Having a red meat craving lately. I'm usually a chicken person but now I love sausage biscuits & burgers!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Chicken breasts, smell of seafood or an empty stomach.
