35 Weeks

Well, it's official...our bags are packed for the hospital! I spent the weekend finishing up his laundry & packing both our bags. The only thing left to pack is toiletries when the time comes. With only 4.5 weeks left until my due date, I decided I wanted to be ready to go when Hatcher decides it's time for his debut! :)

Can you tell I love me some Vera Bradley?! Thank you Kimberly Morris for Hatcher's beautiful diaper bag! :)

We also finished last minute touches to the nursery. We still had pictures & shelving to hang & we got that done yesterday. Both the frames & shelves are Target finds. We can finally say his nursery is done!

Showcasing some of our favorite maternity pictures above his crib. We'll replace the two on the sides with pictures from his newborn session.

The cute shelves are showcasing a few of our favorite things he's received. The top is a beautiful frame with his 4D picture in it. The giraffe piggy bank & his first Bible are from my parents. The large picture frame is all about what little boys are made of. Too cute!

The past week has been great & we've gotten lots done around the house. At this point, we're playing the waiting game for the next 4.5 weeks until Little Hatcher is ready to meet his mommy & daddy! :)

I have to share the picture below of some cute beanies my mom had monogrammed for Hatch! LOVE THEM!!

Below is my 35 week "bump" shot & update.

34 Weeks

It's hard to believe we're already 21 days into August which means my due date is getting that much closer!! We had a great weekend & spent some quality time with a few close friends. Our friend, Annie, came from Atlanta on Saturday to spend the night & see baby Hatch's nursery. We had a great time catching up with her & really appreciated her taking the time to come visit us as our due date gets closer. On Sunday, we spent the day with The Fleming's. This is my best friend & her husband & their two sweet babies. They welcomed their second baby, Quinn, on August 2nd and we were excited to spend some quality time with all of them & of course get some newborn practice with Baby Q! They're a sweet little family & God has truly blessed them with beautiful, healthy children!

I also spent some time in Hatcher's nursery organizing our shower gifts & getting his clothes washed. This sweet boy has lots of clothes & I can't wait for him to wear them all! My goal this week is to get both mine & his hospital bags packed so we're ready to go when the time comes. The car seat, stroller & pack & play are all put together & now we just have to put his swing/bouncy seat together & organize all of his stuff in our kitchen cabinets. We're getting all ready for baby!!

We had a wonderful doctor's visit this morning. Everything looked great & I was measuring exactly 34 weeks & Hatcher's heartbeat was strong in the 140s. We also spoke with the doctor about how involved Johny could be in the delivery process. He's always said he wanted to help "catch" Hatcher if the doctors would allow it. I think this is so sweet & just shows how truly happy he is to welcome our son into the world! Dr. Slocumb made him one happy daddy this morning when he told him as long as everything was going well during delivery, he was more than happy to let Johny "catch" Hatcher. YAY!!! We're so ready to meet this baby boy! :)

Below is my 34 week "bump" shot & update. Enjoy!

33 Weeks

I'm one day away from being 34 weeks & am just now posting about week 33! I think that's a sign I have way too much going on! :)

This past week was so wonderful. We had two baby showers & got lots of great gifts for Hatch. The first shower was in Macon with our close family & friends. We were so happy so many people came to celebrate with us from far away & we are so thankful for all of the wonderful goodies Hatcher received.  My parents & grandparents also stayed for the weekend & we had so much fun! We had an entertaining dinner Saturday night (never a dull moment with The Campbell's) and us ladies shopped till we dropped on Sunday!

The second shower was hosted by my fabulous Sealy co-workers at the Swan Coach House in Atlanta. It was beautiful & once again we were showered with love! Hatcher is literally all set. After a trip to Babies R Us yesterday, I believe we have everything we need to bring our sweet baby boy home! :)We are so blessed by the people in our lives & I thank God for each & every one of them & the love they have shown us during this exciting time!

Johny & I also got to go to the Braves game Thursday night with some of his customers & we got to spend the night in Atlanta which was so much fun! We got to see Chipper Jones hit two home runs during his final season as a Braves player. We even ran into our sweet friends, Annie & Ryan, which was a special treat!

We have another busy weekend working & then spending time with friends! Looking forward to it!

Wedding rings on or off? I think it's officially time to remove my engagement ring which makes me very sad but it's uncomfortably tight. I've worn this ring since Johny proposed 3 years ago & taking it off is hard but I know I will regret it if I don't.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward to: Our 34 week appointment on Tuesday! It's hard to believe almost 2 weeks have passed since our last appointment.

32 Weeks

Last week was the first week in the pregnancy that I didn't post an update. Oops! Things have been so busy around here that I honestly just forgot...must be pregnancy brain! :)

During week 31, we were able to have another 4D ultrasound at First Glimpse here in Macon. Our parents came with us & it was an amazing experience once again. We got to see little Hatch on the big screen for about 45 minutes. Johny said he wished we had one of the imaging machines at our house! We found out that Hatcher is head down & sunny side up! Most babies turn so their face is facing your spine before they're born. This makes labor a little easier. He weighed 4 lbs 1 oz which was in the 52nd percentile. The sonographer guestimates he'll weigh somewhere in the 7 lb range at birth. He has the sweetest little face & even smiled for us a few times! Melted my heart!! We think he looks a lot like me (especially his nose) but with Johny's lips. I've said it before but if you're pregnant, I highly recommend that you have a 4D ultrasound done...it's worth every penny!!

This week we had our 32 week appointment with the doctor. Things continue to look great & Dr. Slocumb says Hatcher is very low already so we're glad to know he's in position to make his appearance in just 7 weeks! The doctors have also signed off on my having a normal vaginal delivery. They looked at all of my hip & pelvic injury scans & feel it's a safe route. However, as I progress in the weeks to come they could change their mind but for now that's the birth plan! We go back on the 21st for our next appointment.

Below is the 32 week "bump" shot & update.
